Five school closures in Highlands due to coronavirus-related issues or public health measures

Highland Council has announced more pupils have been affected by school closures today.

Pupils across the Highlands have been affected with the closures of two schools and three nurseries today due to coronavirus-related issues.

Highland Council's school closure website said Fortrose Academy on the Black Isle is partially closed but is open to S4-S6 pupils.

Cannich Bridge Primary School and its nursery are closed.

The council said Kilchoan Primary at Acharacle is partially closed with the nursery closed due to Covid-19 while Mallaig Primary Nursery is also closed due to public health measures.
