An Inverness fashion shop and its customers are stepping in to help people struggling to find basic supplies as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.

Maggie Blyth Boutique in Union Street is offering a £20 voucher to spend in its store in return a full pack of toilet rolls which will be donated to a food bank.

In a message posted on social media, the shop stated: "Please remember there are those who cannot get out or are unable to bulk buy. Your generosity can help them."

It said there had been an overwhelming response on the first day with 42 toilet rolls donated.
