2023 Community Council elections set to begin in September

The Highland Council will publish on its website the Notice of Election to officially launch the process along with nomination forms on Monday 4 September.

Nominations are welcome from all seeking election to the various Community Councils across Highland - with the maximum membership of each Community Council being determined by the population it serves.

The election is a great opportunity for the people of all communities across the Highlands to express their views and concerns through different Community Councils who will work closely with the Highland Council to make positive change.

Community Councils aim to work to make positive change amongst local communities and improve their environment for the good of the area.
