Cantraybridge College has received lottery funding to help refurbish the café and hire a manager.
They hope to serve healthy food with a new menu which will feature produce they have grown on site.
College chief executive officer Hazel Clark is looking forward to the reopening of the café and the opportunities it will bring to students.
“The main purpose of the café is to give students experience in a café and all aspects of it,” she said.
“We want them to see every part, the prep, the service, the cash services and the cleaning.”
Cantraybridge is a further education college for young adults with learning disabilities, autism or similar additional needs.
There are currently around 50 students enrolled who will all be offered an opportunity to work in the café if they wish to do so.
The college received £60,000 from the Big Lotto fund which will be spread over the next three years.
“We did have a café before Covid-19, but now with this funding we can open again and we are really grateful,” Ms Clark said.
The café will be open to the public Wednesdays to Fridays from 11am-3pm, starting on May 4.
Visitors will be able to see new lambs and there is an outdoor play area for children and families.
