Cantraybridge College has received lottery funding to help refurbish the café and hire a manager.

They hope to serve healthy food with a new menu which will feature produce they have grown on site.

College chief executive officer Hazel Clark is looking forward to the reopening of the café and the opportunities it will bring to students.

“The main purpose of the café is to give students experience in a café and all aspects of it,” she said.

“We want them to see every part, the prep, the service, the cash services and the cleaning.”
