Inverness branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland (RBLS) to open club doors for TV viewing of The Queen's funeral

Service veterans are being invited to watch The Queen's funeral on a large TV screen at the British Legion Club in Inverness.

Club members, serving personnel, family and friends and the public are also invited to attend the occasion on Monday.

It will include a short service before the start of the coverage.

The invitation has been issued by the Inverness branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland (RBLS).

RBLS pays tribute to Queen

The Queen was patron of the RBLS and the branch said it wished to acknowledge her passing and pay its respects.

The club, in Huntly Street, will open its doors at 10am for the short service starting at 10.20am.

Tea and coffee will be available on arrival.

The dress code will be smart and sombre and medals may be worn.
