More than 200 people helped generate thousands of pounds at a fundraising dinner for Inverness’s Highland League football club.
Clachnacuddin held the event at the city’s Kingsmills Hotel, where guests enjoyed a two-course meal and were also entertained by hypnotist Ken Maybury as well as a live performance by a Johnny Cash tribute band.
There were also fun and games for the audience as everyone enjoyed the occasion, which raised more than £8000.
Club director Scott Dowling explained the reason for holding the event was to raise funds for the club as a whole since the cost of running a club with such an established youth development and women’s team can be costly.
“The choice of venue worked wonderfully, from the meal to the staff taking care of the guests before and after,” Mr Dowling said.
“Since it was such a success, it would definitely be a great option for another dinner in the future.
“I would also like to give a massive thank you to all of the people who donated raffle and auction prizes as it really helped with the success of the night.”
