AN Inverness pub has been recognised yet again by awards judges for the quality of its cuisine.

The Waterfront in Huntly Street was named best in the north in the gastro pub category of the sixth annual Food Awards Scotland 2019 held in Glasgow this week.

Having won the same accolade in 2017 and 2018, a spokesman for the pub said: “To win this award three years in a row is testament to the skills of both Roz, our head chef, and Jamie, our restaurant manager, who have strived to cultivate such a harmonious environment, which not only allows creative expression but has an emphasis on a family and fun approach, keeping more or less the same brigade throughout.”
