The team behind a number of popular Inverness bars has developed a new service to make sure customers do not miss out on their favourite cocktails while the pubs are shut.

Cru Holdings runs city bars Bar One, Scotch & Rye and Angels’ Share, among others, and has now launched home delivery cocktail service, Mix’d.

The range of 16 mixes includes Raspberry Ripple Martini, Blood Orange Negroni, Candy Floss Cosmo, Rhubarb Gin Fizz, Singapore Sling and Bakewell Sour.

Each cocktail comes in a resealable pouch serving two, allowing it to be enjoyed straight away or saved for later.

Scott Murray, managing director of Cru Holdings, said: “With the ongoing restrictions brought about by the coronavirus pandemic, so many businesses have been adapting and innovating, so bringing our cocktails to customers at home was a no-brainer for us.

“The mixologists behind our cocktail menus at Bar One and Scotch & Rye, led by Grant Murray, have put so much effort into making their mixes as delicious as possible and suitable for home storage.

“We have already launched Cru Kitchen, delivering food to customers who are missing dishes from our venues including burgers from Scotch & Rye and steak and seafood from Prime.

“It’s great to now be able to also offer a range of cocktails for people to enjoy at home and, while we can’t wait to welcome customers back to our venues, I hope Mix’d and Cru Kitchen make staying at home more enjoyable!”

The cocktails are available for delivery to postcodes IV1 to IV13 or collection, with photographic ID required in either case.
