Inverness facial treatment clinic relaunches with a name change

Aluinn Aesthetics opened a year ago, but will now be known as The Face Place.
This is after proprietor Fiona Bradley, from Skye, realised that clients struggled with pronouncing and spelling Aluinn, which is Gaelic for “beautiful”.
The Face Place, in Cromwell Place, is a boutique clinic where Mrs Bradley says cosmetic facial treatments can revolutionise a person’s happiness.
She is a qualified nurse/midwife practitioner with 35 years’ experience who went on to study cosmetic and facial aesthetics two years ago.
She said: “I am legally allowed to prescribe botox as I am a nurse prescriber. I have completed advanced training in toxins and dermal filler for cosmetic use which is vital for assessments and consultations in my clinic so I can guarantee client safety.
“I follow strict Nursing and Midwifery Council guidelines and as a qualified independent nurse prescriber and trained practitioner I am fully insured.
“I treat my clients following the strict guidelines within my industry for botulinum toxins for cosmetic use, and my clinic room is registered with Health Improvement Scotland and accredited by Safe Face. Client safety is paramount, and aesthetics are administered legally, safely and professionally by a qualified expert.”
Mrs Bradley, who is not a Gaelic speaker, said that more men now seek treatment such as botox for wrinkles.
The boutique clinic offers a range of facial rejuvenation treatments including anti-wrinkle treatment with botox injections, lip enhancement, and volumising dermal fillers with premium, reputable products.
