Cru Holdings which runs a number of Inverness bars and restaurants is to continue offering discounts to customers.

The Eat Out to Help Out scheme was introduced by the UK government offering 50 per cent off meal bills up to a maximum of £10 for purchases made on Mondays to Wednesday throughout August.

Cru Holdings – whose portfolio includes Bar One, Dows, Prime, The Classroom and Scotch & Rye – have now decided to continue running the offer independently through September.

Owner Scott Murray said: "It’s been fantastic to see friends, couples and families reunite as they spend time in our restaurants.

"These are difficult times for everyone, and our customers have been amazing, so this is our little thank you to them all."

Booking in advance is advisable, with customers asked to quote #SupportLocal for the offer to be added.
