'Death-defying' Circus Vegas is coming to Inverness

Well, look no further because all this and more is coming to Inverness, along with the glitz and glam of Las Vegas.

The awe-inspiring individuals of Circus Vegas will bring their Scottish tour to Inverness from June 29-July 4.

Promising to be spectacular, the circus merges Las Vegas traditions and contemporary styles with extreme stunts and classic clown escapades, so there is bound to be something for everyone to be thrilled by.

The show will be one of a kind, featuring performers from across the globe, and will be the ultimate show to remember, whether you are a petrol head, a thrill seeker, or a child looking to be wowed.

A range of acts will perform, including Duo Alambria, who will bring a sensational high-wire act which has never been seen before in Scotland. The troupe will be coming all the way from Spain and Africa to perform in Scotland.

For those of us who love a thrill, the Globe of Death will also be on display. The daredevil riders on the globe experience G-force similar to that of a fighter pilot. Riders will perform loops both vertically and horizontally in the cage! So if you are faint-hearted, this one might have you watching through your fingers.

Edy the Clown, who children are bound to love, will also be in attendance bring a cheerful form of entertainment. There will be prowess in hula hoop, skating, juggling and the troupe of dancers performing their acts all with unique twists – some never before seen in Scotland.

The Didyk Troupe from Ukraine will be flying through the air during performances, so be sure to look up and enjoy the spectacle!

Scotland was specially chosen for its diverse and cultural background, making it the perfect location for a performance which is just as diverse and cultural in its acts.

Circus Vegas will be at the car park outside Caledonian Stadium in Inverness from June 29 to July 4, before moving on to visit Aberdeen (Queens Links) on July 6-23.

The show runs for around two hours in a theatre-style circus Big Top, climate-controlled and with comfortable seating.

There is a range of times and dates available for their Inverness performances, so you have plenty of opportunity to watch the action with family and friends:

June 29: 7pm

June 30: 5pm and 7.45pm

July 1: 2pm, 5pm and 7.45pm

July 2: 2pm and 5pm

July 3: 3pm and 7.45pm

July 4: noon and 3pm
