Nairn’s Accidentals Choir returns with a Christmas programme after a three-year break.

After the success of their summer concert in June, Nairn’s Accidentals Choir returns with a Christmas programme after a three-year break because of the Covid pandemic.

The concert takes place on Saturday, December 10, at the United Reformed Church.

Musical director, Wendy Strath is hoping that those who packed the church for their summer event will return and support the choir again. The summer event raised £1500 for the Firefighters Charity in memory of one of the choir’s former members.

Wendy said: “The Christmas Concert promises a varied programme of old and new pieces with a twist guaranteed to get the audience in the festive mood.”

Beneficiaries are the local Macmillan Nurse Team and Green Hive who operate from Balmakeith Industrial Estate.

The choir is also offering festive refreshments as well as the usual raffle. Tickets prices at just £5 are available from Pat Fraser, Electrician on the High Street and Nairn Wool Shop, on Falconer’s Lane, or at the door on the night.
