Children's charity The Archie Foundation are appealing for toys to be donated to help sick kids when they are in hospital.

The Highland branch of the charity have toy boxes placed in hospitals that allow sick children to distract themselves from treatment.

However, they are running low on supplies such as small toys, arts and crafts materials and other distractions.

They have put out a call asking for donations of small and inexpensive items like stickers or colouring books which make all the difference to the children.

The charity have created a handy wishlist of items they need which can be found online.

Donations can be dropped off at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness at the main entrance office. To get in touch, call 01463 888258.

They cannot accept used donations.
