Charleston Academy in Inverness is to be closed for pupils in S1 to S3 pupils tomorrow as a result of staff self isolating.

Nicky Grant, interim head of education, said: "From tomorrow – due to staff self-isolating – Charleston Academy will be closed to S1-S3 pupils."

Parents and carers are now being advised to check guidance on Highland Council's website daily to check for any further closures.

Ms Grant said: “Parents and carers should observe the council’s school closures website at www.highland.gov.uk/school closures from 7am each morning to determine if their school is closed."
