Charity tin and tip jar stolen by thieves during Inverness takeaway break-in

Thieves who broke into an Inverness takeaway before stealing a charity tin and tip jar are being hunted by police.

Officers have appealed for information following the incident, which occurred at a takeaway on Telford Street in Inverness sometime between 11pm on Monday, February 12 and 11am the following day.

"Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have information to come forward," said a police spokesperson.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting 'incident 1940 of February 13'.
