A golf day successfully raised £101,000 for cancer support charity Maggie’s Highlands.

The annual event took place on April 29 where 92 guests played a round of golf at Castle Stuart Golf Links followed by a black-tie gala dinner at the Drumossie Hotel.

At dinner, a guest speaker shared her cancer journey and discussed the incredible support she received from Maggie’s.

An auction also took place, raising more than £50,000.

Maggie’s Highlands centre fundraising manager Andrew Benjamin said, “After a three-year absence, having this much-loved event back in full and seeing so many people having fun and meeting up again was so warming.

“Maggie’s Highlands would like to express our sincere thanks to the organising committee, headline sponsors The Orion Group, Castle Stuart, The Drumossie hotel, all those that donated auction and raffle items. Thanks also to everyone who attended the event to make it such an incredibly successful day.”
