Injured casualty stretchered from Black Isle beauty spot in multi-agency shout after morning fall

A MOUNTAIN rescue team sprang into action earlier today to help emergency services coming to the aid of a visitor who took a tumble at a Ross-shire beauty spot.

The incident happened on the Fairy Glen footpath at Rosemarkie on the Black Isle.

Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team was tasked to assist the Scottish Ambulance Service in the evacuation of the individual injured after falling on the popular footpath.

Twelve team members attended and were able to evacuate the casualty on a stretcher with the assistance of the Scottish Ambulance Service and officers from Police Scotland.
