CASH Cow, a coo which is part of the Great Heilan' Coo Trail for the Highland Hospice, will make an appearance at this year's Moy Country Fair on August 5-6.

The Coo Trail is a public art installation across the Highlands, raising money for the Hospice who provide end of life care.

Cash Cow is just one of 22 coos dotted about the Highlands, and is painted by a local artist. You can find it at the Highland Hospice stand over the weekend of the fair.

Event organisers are thrilled to be welcoming one of the Highland Cows which have been proving a hit in the local area.

JP Campbell, a director on the Moy Country Fair Committee, said: “Is there anything more appropriate for a Fair in the Scottish countryside than a Highland coo? We think Cash Cow will be in his element at the Moy Country Fair and we’re sure many visitors will enjoy meeting him.

"We are proud to be able to support incredible local charities like Highland Hospice and hope many visitors will consider donating as they enjoy meeting Cash Cow.”

A supporter of Highland Hospice, Moy Country Fair has donated to the charity regularly over the years.

Wendy Morgan, communications officer at Highland Hospice, said: “We are delighted to be bringing our roaming Cash Cow from The Great Heilan Coo Trail to this year’s Moy Country Fair. As a charity close to many people’s hearts, we could not survive without the help of communities across the whole of the Highlands.

"Our services are constantly expanding, and we are very grateful to the Fair for being such a support to Highland Hospice and accommodating us over the years at this fantastic event.”

The cows will go to auction in September will all proceeds going to the Highland Hospice.
