Careers fair in Inverness sees over 250 local job seekers in attendance
A recent careers fair in Inverness saw over 250 local job seekers in attendance.
The UK Careers Fair was held at the Leonardo Hotel recently, where employers from across the region met with those looking for a job.
Chenez Isabella Hardy, marketing and web development manager for The UK Careers Fair said: "The UK Careers Fair's recent event in Inverness was a notable success, drawing attention to our expansion efforts across the UK. With over 150 events nationwide, the Inverness fair, though smaller in scale to our more established locations, did not disappoint.
"We hosted key employers including the Scottish Prison Service College, Stagecoach North, Global Highland, and several others, from Morrison Construction to the ARMY.
"The turnout was strong, with over 250 local job seekers in attendance, exploring a diverse range of career opportunities. The event facilitated numerous valuable connections between candidates and businesses, proving the demand and potential for career growth in the area.
"We're encouraged by the results and are already planning to build on this success for future events in Inverness, aiming to bring in more employers and job seekers alike."
