Ponies, live music and a BBQ: these are just a few of the things that featured at Inverness care home's first big event since Covid.
Residents of Isobel Fraser Care Home welcomed the community into their sanctuary for the Celebration Day, which was a great opportunity to meet with people after a tough few years.
The event on Mayfield Road, was also an opportunity to officially open their new extension, with the ribbon being cut by the eldest resident, Alexander Sinclair, and the youngest member of staff, Sophie Stewart.
Senior carer at Isobel Fraser, Kara Mackay said: "It was so good to have friends and family there, but there was a lot of new faces with a lot of the community coming to support us.
"It was a great success, and everyone had a lovely day. The sun was out and we even had a visit from Trots of Fun Pony Parties, who are a favourite of the residents."
Strumness provided the music for the day, along with Willie Doig playing guitar, who is regular entertainer at the home.
The Celebration Day also included stalls and a treasure hunt for children with just under £3000 being raised over the course of the event. All the proceeds will go to fund activities for the residents, such as visits to wildlife parks, entertainers and the minibus to take them places.
Kara added: "A big thank you for everyone's generosity, time and company. We all had such a fabulous time and we hope that you all enjoyed your time in our home."
