An experienced owner is being sought for a corn snake who came to the Scottish SPCA as a stray.

Slinkster is described by staff at the Scottish SPCA rehoming centre in Inverness as a bit of a "feisty" character who would be best suited to an experienced owner who knows the breed and how to handle them.

They say he can be very active and curious – and is known to look for escape routes form his vivarium!

Any new accommodation will need to be escape-proof.

If you can believe you can offer Slinkster the home he needs contact the Scottish SPCA on 03000 999 999 for more information.
