The Nairn Highland Games Half Marathon will take place on Games Day on Saturday, August 19.

Organised by Nairn Road Runners, the route starts and ends within the main games arena, where runners may finish to the sound of the massed pipes and drums.

Participants will follow the scenic route alongside the beach, harbour and out into open countryside, before returning to the main games arena, making for a fast, flat course.

Registration will be open in the white tent at the cricket pavilion at Nairn Links on the day from 10.45am-noon, with the race starting at 12.30pm.

Runners can sign up on the day or also register at www.entrycentral.com/NairnHalfMarathon
