Drumnadrochit café opens its doors for people on their own at Christmas

The Courtyard Café in Drumnadrochit held a special Christmas Day meal for anyone going to be on their own on Christmas Day.

Fiona Morrison who was one of those attending said: "June Cowan at the Courtyard Centre, Drumnadrochit invited anyone who was going to be on their own on Christmas Day, to a meal at the café.

"A wonderful three-course Christmas meal was very much enjoyed by a group of very appreciative people.

"June and her team of helpers served us very well and it was a wonderful way to celebrate the birth of Jesus together."

And she added: "Not only was this a very kind and thoughtful thing to do, but also any donations went to the childcare centre in Drumnadrochit."
