A BUSY Inverness road will close to traffic overnight later this week to allow for railway maintenance work.

Harbour Road will be closed at the Millburn level crossing from 9pm on Saturday to 9am on Sunday.

Announcing the temporary closure, Highland Council said the move was to allow "essential maintenance and repair works at the level crossing".
