Nairn BID's business breakfast returns to boost member engagement
A BUSINESS networking event was back in Nairn for the first time in three years.
The business breakfast organised by Nairn BID encourages local business owners to connect and share their views.
With around 25 representatives in attendance, the event hosted by the new café and social enterprise The Highland Weigh aimed to encourage networking between businesses and improve communication between BID and its members.
Feedback from members on BIDs work was also key for the discussion on the day as the organisation will be looking for renewal for another five years next summer.
Nairn BID manager, Lucy Harding, said: “We had a really good turnout despite the weather and we are really pleased with how it went.”
The event was the occasion for Nairn BID to announce dates in their calendar of events and liaise with members to ask for their views on what they’d like the organisation to do in the future.
With some members asking for greater transparency from the board, BID members took the opportunity to introduce some of its newest board members and also took the feedback onboard with the aim to run the event on a monthly basis.
