Bus driver who died in Elgin named as Keith Rollinson, as 15-year-old to appear in Elgin Sheriff Court on Monday

A MAN who died after being assaulted at Elgin Bus Station on Friday night has been named as Keith Rollinson.

Keith Rollinson (58) was assaulted on Friday night and later died at Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin.

Mr Rollinson – a 58-year-old bus driver with Stagecoach – was assaulted at the bus station, before being taken to Dr Gray's Hospital where he died.

A 15-year-old male was arrested in the aftermath of the incident and is due to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court tomorrow (Monday, February 5).

Detective Inspector Gavin Fleming, of Aberdeen CID, said: “Our thoughts are very much with Keith’s family and we are providing them with support at what is a very difficult time for them.

"They have asked for their privacy to be respected.”
