The Inverness branch of Burger King is set to reopen for drive-through meals on Monday.

The outlet at Inverness Shopping Park is one of a number of branches offering takeaway food with some others offering a delivery service.

The announcement followed news that Subway has opened more than 600 shops across the UK, McDonald's had begun its first phase of reopening and KFC opened 100 of its restaurants for delivery.

Burger King has already opened up 35 of its restaurants this week and the Inverness branch will be reopened in the next phase from Monday.
