A building materials supplier in Inverness is potentially set to close.

Wickes in Longman Road is at the end of its lease, and the company is now supporting the staff at the store, through a 'difficult time'.

A spokesperson for Wickes said: "Wickes is currently consulting with colleagues who work at the Inverness store to talk about the potential closure of the store, as it comes to the end of its lease.

"We understand that this may be a difficult time and are supporting colleagues during this consultation period, including the option to explore opportunities for redeployment in new roles wherever possible."
