BREAKING: Police cordon off Inverness city centre street after reports of an incident

Police have blocked off part of an Inverness city centre street after an incident this morning.

An area outside the Oxfam shop and the Sushiness takeaway in Lombard Street, adjacent to the High Street, have been cordoned off with officers and a police vehicle present at the scene.

The nature of the incident is not yet known.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
