The Kessock Bridge on the A9 in Inverness is closed in both directions due to a police incident.

Traffic Scotland is advising road users to use an alternative route and expect longer than normal journey times.

The closure was reported at 4.18pm.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said it was due to concern for a person.
