BREAKING NEWS: Five fire crews tackle blaze at the former Norbord plant near Inverness – the site is now part of West Fraser

Fire crews are at the scene of an industrial fire near Inverness.

Thick black smoke and flames were spotted pouring from the former Norbord plant, at Dalcross, which is now part of West Fraser.

The alarm was raised at 3.41pm and a Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said a total of four appliances, including one from Nairn, and a height vehicle were sent to the scene.
