BREAKING NEWS: A96 closed in both directions just past Balloch and police are heading to the scene

Traffic Scotland has announced that the A96 is closed in both directions.

The area affected is just past Balloch, between Newton of Petty and Allenfearn, and the cause was a collision.

A spokesman said: "Police are en route and expect delays."
