Break-in at Velocity Café in Inverness

The Velocity Café and Bicycle Workshop said it was burgled overnight

A Facebook post by the social enterprise, which is based in Crown Avenue close to Inverness city centre, said it was broken into between 11pm on Thursday night and 7am this morning.

"Our little social enterprise had some unfortunate news this morning after discovering we had been broken into," its post reads.

"However we're STILL OPEN, feeling POSITIVE and looking forward to SEEING YOU this weekend.

"So pop in for some DELICIOUS CAKE, TASTY BREAKFAST OR LUNCH and brighten our day. We're open until 4pm today."

It adds: "All local business and Crown community members be extra safe this weekend!!"
