Body found near Grantown

Police have just issued an update following an earlier appeal over a missing man.

Patrick Mills went missing from the Nairn area yesterday.

A statement issued this evening confirmed: "Around 3pm on Tuesday, February 6, the body of a man was found in the Lochindorb area.

"Formal identification is yet to take place but the family of missing man Patrick Mills has been informed.

"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
