Black Isle geography students find their way to sharing shed bonanza thanks to Fortrose Academy food security project

BIG-HEARTED pupils at a Black Isle secondary school combined compassion and geography to produce a welcome harvest for a local sharing shed.

Fortrose Academy's S1 geography pupils got behind a collaboration which saw them team up with sharing sheds on the Black Isle.

Avoch and Killen Sharing Shed posted: "A very full shed, all thanks to Fortrose Academy S1 geography pupils and their teacher Alison Stewart, learning about UK food waste and community food security. They put their learning into action by organising a school-wide food collection for the Black Isle Sharing Sheds.
