Three football clubs have joined forces to bring the biggest game of bingo to the North whilst supporting their youth development teams.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Balloan FC and Clachnacuddin decided to team up to create the mega fundraiser on August 7 which will be hosted at Inverness Caledonian Thistle stadium.

All three teams help more than 100 children from ages 8-18, giving them a chance to be active and improve their football.

Coaches rely on fundraisers to continue the sessions, as they face costs for kit and washing, venue hire, referees, equipment and travel.

David Macdougall, coach at Clachnacuddin, said: “The last two years have been really hard to raise money and do things so we thought this event would be a bit different.

“There will be lots of big prize’s up for grabs and the biggest giveaway in the North.

“We are delighted to be able to host this event. We have seven youth teams ourselves, there’s a lot that goes in behind hit. This will come in really handy.”

Charlie Christie, academy director at Inverness Caledonian Thistle, added: “It’s great to see the three clubs working together and knowing the good work the other teams do. I’ve tried in the past to get all the youth teams to work together so this is a step in the right direction.

“The event is great, it’s something that’s never happened before and hopefully it’ll capture the imagination and we’ll get a good turn out. We hope to make the event a huge success.”

The teams are accepting donations for prize’s which can be handed into Caledonian Thistle stadium or Café V8, and tickets can be purchased there as well.
