Inverness coach and visitor ambassadors are set to receive funding towards their good work for another year.

An application from Inverness Business Improvement District (BID) for £19,865 funding towards the Ambassador Project 2024 came before the Inverness Common Good Fund sub-committee recently.

It was agreed to recommend to the Inverness City Committee that the application be approved at its next meeting due to be held tomorrow.

BID ambassadors welcome and assist thousands of visitors arriving in the city each year, many on tourist coaches at the Ardross Street pick up/drop off facility.

They include thousands who have arrived at Invergordon on cruise liners from all over the world and are bussed to the city for the day.
