Beyonce choreographer's Inverness workout class

NEW workout class Bootylicious is coming to Ironworks in Inverness - with a choreographer who has worked with Beyonce.

Steve Agyei has spent his 25-year career as a fitness trainer and choreographer, combining his knowledge of fitness, sport, dance, yoga and music.

Steve has not only worked as a choreographer with Beyonce, but also JLo and Usher.

Within the pop world he performed with The Spice Girls, Sting, Paul McCartney, U2 and Mariah Carey and appeared in over 50 pop videos

And he has appeared as a soloist in Trevor Nunn’s Porgy and Bess at the Royal Opera House, Simon Callow’s Carmen Jones, Arelene Phillips’ Starlight Express and The Eartha Kitt Show

Steve also regularly choreographs for Adidas and Umbro and the Nike ‘Freestyler films directed by Jake Nava, who created Beyonce’s Crazy In Love and Single Ladies videos).

Sporting icons he has also worked with include Muhammad Ali, Daley Thompson and David Beckham.

He has also choreographed up to 500 children at a time for major sporting events including The UEFA Champions League Final, UEFA Cup Final and FA Cup Final.

More recent work includes choreographing a live version of the GAP Christmas commercial in Oxford Street to a commissioned piece of music by Pharell Williams and flying to New York on a monthly basis to work on artistic development with Tony Mottola’s new protégé Caroline Jones.

He also appeared with Louis Spence on Bump and Grind for Trouble TV as a fitness presenter.

A highly qualified personal trainer, yoga teacher and UEFA B soccer coach, he has also worked with Chelsea FC and Ian Wright’s soccer schools.

Steve was chosen to be the face of the BBC’s Athens’ 2004 Olympic campaign appearing in the award-winning Legends Film and all of the Olympic title sequences.

His private clients include Tony and Cherie Blair, Emma Bunton, Martina Hingis and he is responsible for creating the toned body of man of Sky's star of Pineapple Studios, Louis Spence.

Steve regularly has contributed fitness articles to magazines such as Men’s Health, Zest, Sunday Times Style Magazine and Tatler.

His new weekly workout session ' at the Ironworks, Inverness, Bootylicious will run every Tuesday from 6-7pm, starting tomorrow.
