PALE Waves, Scouting for Girls, Newton Faulkner, Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp and more have been added to the line-up for this year's Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival.

Organisers revealed they'd been added to the line-up after unveiling another waves of artists who will perform at this year's festival between July 27 and 29.

"We are delighted to unveil the next wave of artists joining the line up, featuring a selection of acts making their Bella debut and the return of some firm festival favourites," said a spokesman.

"Set to make their festival debut are Manchester indie-pop four-piece, Pale Waves. We are delighted to welcome back Scouting for Girls who last headlined Belladrum way back in 2008.

"Two other acts making a very welcome return are a singer-songwriter known for his incredible percussive guitar style, Newton Faulkner, and an act who have become part of the fabric of Bella over the last few years – the non-stop party that is Colonel Mustard and The Dijon Five.

"Best known for having sold millions of records worldwide alongside his brother in new wave band Spandau Ballet, as well as his role as Steve Owen in EastEnders and most recently in Channel 4’s Gogglebox, Martin Kemp will be bringing his ‘Back to the 80s’ show for a late night performance on the main stage.

"Other acts added to the bill include; a band at the forefront of the Scottish rock scene Spyres; Fife born singer-songwriter Cammy Barnes; one of the most exciting emerging UK country artists Katy Hurt; Dream-pop duo Poster Paints featuring Simon Liddell (Olympic Swimmers, Frightened Rabbit) and Carla J Easton; emerging singer-songwriter Rianne Downey; local soul band Scooty and the Skyhooks; all female four-piece Dorec-A-Belle; dynamic duo The Laurettes; Brogeal will join us with the blend of celtic-folk and a contemporary trad; fresh from supporting Peat & Diesel across the UK, Rumac will also make his debut at Belladrum; Calum Jones will take to the main stage; while Tweed & Tuath will both appear on the Grassroots Stage over the weekend.

"Other late night slots include ABBA Mania, who will take to the main stage following our Thursday night headliner. Grassroots will welcome Spiders From Mars (a tribute to David Bowie) and MacFloyd on the Friday and Saturday nights respectively.

"Many more acts will be announced over the coming months including our packed kids and entertainment programme."
