Inverness bakery Harry Gow creates birthday cake for Scottish Ballet's 50th anniversary celebrations at Eden Court which even includes an edible pair of ballet pumps

A NATIONAL dancing troupe have marked their 50th anniversary with a performance and party in the Highlands.

Scottish Ballet started their milestone year at Eden Court in Inverness.

This included a world premiere performance followed by a gala for the dancers, orchestra, audience and guests.

Eden Court surprised Scottish Ballet with a big 50th birthday cake from Harry Gow Bakery in Inverness.

The incredible slab cake was beautifully iced and adorned with an edible pair of ballet pumps.
