An award-winning Highland hotel is proud to be a force for good within the local community.

The Macdonald Drumossie Hotel is well-known for hosting large events and parties, with exquisite food and excellent service. Having recently hosted Highland Heroes - a sell-out event with 400 guests - the hotel is proud to be able to deliver for its clients, no matter the size of the event.

With a range of rooms, the Drumossie Hotel can cater for everyone. From small rooms to the large ballroom, it can cater events from two people up to 450.

Whether it be a three-day conference, or a team building day, the Drumossie certainly has the space to accommodate and even exceed requests.

Though for those looking to host a more intimate event, the Drumossie can meet their wishes too.

As well as the Drumossie Suite, which has the capacity for up to 450 guests with two private bars, there is the smaller Culloden Suite which can take up to 80 people, and the hotel itself sits within nine acres of its own parkland.

There is plenty of room for people to stay the night if you are hosting an event that goes into the evening or runs over several days. With 44 bedrooms, including executive and deluxe packages, professional events can be made a night of luxury.

As well as major business events, the Drumossie’s large facilities have also proven to be an ideal setting for sporting events, hosting professional boxing matches and encounters with some of Scotland’s biggest sporting names, including Paul “Gazza” Gascoigne and his former Rangers team-mate Ally McCoist.

Classic car fans have also been finding their way to the Drumossie, which boasts the Highlands’ biggest car park with space for more than 400 vehicles, as well as being conveniently located just off the A9 and close to the start and finish of the North Coast 500 in Inverness, making it an ideal stopping-off point for tours and rallies around the Highlands.

None of these events would be possible if it weren’t for the dedicated and excellent team at the Drumossie Hotel. General manager Stephane Portes said: “We love being a part of the Highland community and being able to cater for people’s events, big or small.

“Our team here excel at what they do and are masters at being able to provide an event that is memorable.

“Our chefs are extremely talented and can create first-class meals for events of every size. Our service team are professional and seasoned in events so are able to cater to customers’ needs whatever they may be.”

For those wanting to enjoy fantastic views across Macdonald Drumossie Hotel’s private grounds and host a meeting can make use of The Boardroom.

It’s an elegant, exclusive environment for key business meetings, with seating for up to 14 people around an impressive central table. With IT facilities and a large screen, it is the perfect place to host a team meeting or a training event.

You don’t need to just look at the grounds though and can experience the full beauty of Drumossie’s estate. Don kilts and put on your own Highland Games or embark on an exciting treasure hunt through the hotel’s private grounds.
