An interactive play is set to take place at Inverness Town House, focusing on the topic of assisted dying.

Taking place from May 2 - 4, the immersive drama, ‘The Court’, will include thespians from local drama group The Florians.

Having previously appeared at Edinburgh Fringe, the courtroom drama centres around the question of assisted dying, with the question asked: ‘Did Cathy murder her mother or help end her suffering?’

The audience will have the opportunity to act as the jury and will be able to ponder over witness statements and the jury's cross-examination to decide the outcome of this case.

Actress, Norma Brown said: “The topic of assisted dying is making the headlines at the moment.

“We hope that this play will have people talking long after the curtains come down!”

Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
