Attempted robbery in Inverness Co-op sparks manhunt

POLICE are hunting for a would-be robber who walked into a Co-op and demanded money.

The attempted robbery happened last night at 10pm at the Co-op store in Caulfield Road, Inverness.

The suspect is described as being in his mid 30s, 5ft 10in and of medium to heavy build.

He was wearing a dark blue hooded “windcheater” top, navy blue jogging bottoms with a light coloured stripe down the side, black dress shoes and white socks.

He was last seen walking towards the Caulfield Road area

If anyone has any information regarding this individual they should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
