Fortrose Cathedral will come alive with dance performances by local groups in front of a background of animated films projected high on to the walls of the building.

It is the culmination of a series of workshops, organised by Groam House Museum, that have been running throughout the autumn and funded by Creative Scotland and Museums Galleries Scotland.

Inspired by the work of Celtic artist, George Bain, local dance groups have choreographed their own performances based on the twists and turns found in Celtic art.

Meanwhile other groups have been participating in animation workshops with film maker, Mike Webster, who has introduced them to the use of new technology and helped them create films deconstructing and reconstructing the spirals and knots characterising Celtic art.

Everyone is welcome to this free event which will take place on the grass in front of the Cathedral tonight from 7.30pm.
