Highland Print Studio has appointed four professional artists to work in collaboration with Beauly, Fort William, Newtonmore Camanachd and Skye Camanachd on the artwork – which will be inspired by the sport’s culture, history, people and fans.

Artist Tom Smith, who will be working with Beauly Shinty Club, is a former shinty player himself, having turned out for one of Beauly’s biggest rivals.

“From Beauly’s perspective, we’re looking forward to working with Tom Smith – even though he has connections with our traditional rivals, Lovat Shinty Club,” joked Steven Mackenzie, club secretary at Beauly Shinty Club.
