Members of Ardersier Port will attend a meeting of Ardersier and Petty Community Council.

The meeting had originally been scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7pm but will now take pace on Wednesday, March 9, same time.

The erection of a fence blocking access to the Whiteness headland brought a storm of protest from members of the public who use the area.

The company has defended its right to close off the area but Highland Council is investigating the legal status of the fence and access rights.

The meeting is due to take place at the War Memorial Hall in Ardersier.
