British furniture retailer Sofology has taken a step closer to opening new premises in Inverness after Highland Council granted permission to put up signage.

The sofa store is taking over an empty outlet at Inverness Shopping Park that was formerly occupied by clothing shop Outfit.

The exact opening date is yet to be confirmed but the local authority has now passed approval for signs to go up outside the shop at unit 1c Eastfield Way.
