A NEW business directory has been launched by Inverness airport aimed at aviation professionals.

Local businesses are being invited to get involved with the Inverness Airport Directory, which is available online, by signing up and offering special offers to cabin crew, pilots and other flight staff who have layovers in the city.

They will be able to browse offers, agreed especially for them, from local places to eat, drink and shop.

Graeme Bell, the airport’s general manager, said: “The directory is going to be a fantastic way of showcasing the many amenities and leisure options we have here in Inverness.

“This will hopefully benefit the local economy by giving hard-working aircrew additional options when they stay over in Inverness. The partner incentive is an opportunity to work together and support each other.”

The offers will be agreed by the businesses themselves, inclusion in the directory is free and it is hoped it will help boost the local economy.
