Adverse weather around Scotland set to disrupt train travel between Inverness, Aberdeen and the central belt

Train travel will be disrupted this morning.

ScotRail has warned train passengers that adverse weather around the country is set to cause disruption to train travel in the Highlands this morning.

Delays, alterations and cancellations are due to affect ScotRail's services today following a yellow weather warning issued earlier this week impacting areas south of Aberdeen and the central belt.

This is due to the speed restrictions in place due to the adverse weather, with disruption expected to last until around 12pm.
