Additional overnight works required to complete lining refreshments on the A9 Inverness to Aviemore

A ROAD managing company has announced partial lane closures on a major Highland trunk road to allow for overnight maintenance work.

BEAR Scotland have advised that additional overnight works will be carried out to complete the ongoing lining refresh works on the A9 between Inverness and Aviemore.

Works will be carried out on the A9 between Tomatin and Inshes Junction from Tuesday September 20 for four nights and will take place between 7pm and 6am each night.

All works are expected to be complete by 6am Saturday, September 24, subject to weather conditions.

A lane closure with a 10mph convoy system will be in place during working hours, however traffic management will be removed outwith working hours.

Emergency services will have access at all times.
